DOTS AND LINES is the brainchild of two friends, Deepti and Raimole, who are passionate about handcrafted décor and everything that is connected with handicrafts and craftsmanship.

Deepti Singh who is an Educationist, Trainer and Counsellor, always dreamt of her own handicrafts venture. A travel enthusiast, her interactions with the artisan community in remote regions of the country have helped in understanding the uniqueness and precision involved in the making of each craft. She loves designing and is involved in planning the best pieces for the customers.

For Deepti, each handicraft at her home brings back memories of its purchase: the place and people associated with it, the curiosity of knowing more about it, the joy of buying it and the pride of owning it.

Dr Raimole Abraham diverged from a career in media education, radio jockeying and documentary production to becoming an entrepreneur. Her research study on environmental journalism made her connect with the realities of grassroot communities. A Diploma in Entrepreneurship Management and continuous interactions with Deepti paved the way for an innovative start-up business idea in that direction. 

For Raimole, handicrafts help connect with life through its colour, beauty, and sheer presence. She admires the intricacies in their design and making. She enjoys handpicking pieces of craft from the by lanes of major craft towns and had always wished to start a handicraft brand for the common man. 

The co-founders are on a strong footing through their capabilities in developing marketing strategies, innovating design interventions, their sense of aesthetics and their readiness to face challenges.
